Forest Grove Concours D'Elegance

My friend Paul and I were judges at the 2006 Rotary Club Concours D'Elegance in Forest Grove last weekend, judging vintage motorcycles, scooters, and commercial vehicles. An amazing event--if you've never gone, you're really missing out. I took a few photos and uploaded them to this album.

Loved the show. Thanks for posting the pics. As the owner/restorer of the silver Countach, thanks for the pictures.

Hi Greg,

You're welcome! Your car is very striking...an unusual color that the Countach looks very good in. A good example of the model, as well, without the ugly & huge early U.S.-cert bumper in the front and the back...nice to see the original design wedge taillights (which don't show on the big bumper cars).

I used to have a Ferrari 512BB Boxer, but never have had a chance for a ride in a Countach. These days, I'm driving a practical but un-exotic BMW M3 :-( It seems only the Italians understand the importance of great exhaust & intake noises!

Michael.
